Today I’m thrilled to take you on a journey behind the scenes of one of my recent live painting adventures I’ve had the pleasure to paint live—Nicole and Tyler’s celebration at The Barns at Wesleyan Hills in Middletown, CT.
The Barns at Wesleyan Hills is a rustic haven of warmth and charm, where weathered wood meets New England charm. As I set up my easel amidst the wood floor, post and beams and twinkling fairy lights, I knew I was about to capture something truly special.
This was a surprise gift from Nicole’s family. And what a surprise it was.
As the couple shared their first dance, bathed in the soft glow of the barn lights, I translated their joy and connection onto my canvas. The atmosphere was electric, and every stroke of my brush captured the essence of the moment. The guests watched in awe as the painting evolved, transforming into a living testament to Nicole and Tyler’s love story.
