Capturing Love on Canvas: Carly and Augie’s Newport Beach House Wedding
I’m thrilled to share my latest creation: a beautiful depiction of Carly and Augie’s wedding at the stunning Newport Beach House. This enchanting event took place a few weeks ago in April, and I had the honor of capturing their special day on canvas.
A Memorable Ceremony by the Ocean
Despite the slightly overcast day, the weather provided dramatic clouds with occasional bursts of sunshine and blue skies peeking through—perfect for a picturesque beach ceremony. The Newport Beach House, a two-story venue right on the water, offered breathtaking views of the ocean. The ceremony was held on the grassy area facing the ocean, with a full glass wall that beautifully framed the scenery while blocking the strong winds that day.

Moments to Cherish
Carly looked radiant as her father walked her down the aisle, their smiles lighting up the scene. Friends and family frequently visited my easel throughout the celebration, eager to see the painting’s progress. Their excitement added to the joyful atmosphere of the day.
Surprises and Serenades
The evening was filled with delightful surprises, including a performance by Hawaiian dancers that captivated everyone. A particularly touching moment was when Augie, a talented musician, joined the band to serenade Carly with “Brown-Eyed Girl,” creating a magical memory for all.
A Harmonious Palette
Back in my studio, I added a layer of oil paints to complete the painting. I loved working with the harmonious color palette inspired by the soft neutrals of the ocean. The final piece truly encapsulates the beauty and emotion of Carly and Augie’s wedding day.
