Bringing Sierra & Robert’s Vision to Life
As their wedding day approached, Sierra shared an incredible planning document filled with notes, photos, and beautifully organized inspiration. It was a glimpse into the care and creativity that went into every choice. Each detail reflected their desire to make guests feel cherished and included in their celebration.
The ceremony took place on the back lawn overlooking the water — a breathtaking view made even more romantic by the heart-shaped floral arch behind them. Their photographer captured the magic of the day with an artist’s eye for light and emotion.
Painting the Moment
I set up on the lawn about two hours before the ceremony began. My plan was to capture the full expanse of Rosecliff’s stunning architecture in the background, with Sierra and Robert standing together in the foreground, gazing into each other’s eyes and holding hands.
Throughout the afternoon, the sky shifted between overcast and bursts of sunlight. The interplay of light brought the marble façade to life — the warm glow from the arched windows added a sense of majesty and timeless opulence.
Working with Sierra was such a delight. Her enthusiasm and trust made every stage of the process joyful. Listening deeply to a client’s vision and translating it onto canvas has always felt like my quiet “superpower” — not boastful, but a heartfelt gift I’ve honed over years of painting love stories like theirs.
