Experience the Romance of a Live Wedding Painting on Long Island
Chantelle & Matthew’s Wedding at The Swan Club, Roslyn, NY
When it comes to preserving the magic of your wedding day, few things compare to the timeless beauty of a live wedding painting. In August 2023, I had the honor of painting for Chantelle and Matthew at The Swan Club in Roslyn, NY—a stunning venue tucked away on Long Island’s North Shore.
Their wedding was an unforgettable celebration of elegance and joy. The lush gardens, sweeping willow trees, and glowing golden hour light created a breathtaking backdrop for their ceremony. As the couple exchanged vows, I captured the essence of the moment in brushstrokes—working live in front of their family and friends. The guests’ reactions were heartwarming, and Chantelle’s response moved me deeply.

This video not only shows the creative process in real-time—it captures the emotional reactions that make live wedding painting so powerful. From the curiosity of guests as the artwork unfolds to the tearful joy on Chantelle’s face at the end of the night, every moment reminds me why I do what I do.

Why Chantelle Chose a Live Painter
Chantelle shared these heartfelt words after receiving her painting:
“I decided to book a live wedding painter for our wedding, and boy am I happy I did—and specifically that I found Linda Marino. I knew that if we were going to do this, I wanted a true work of art that we would be proud to hang in our home forever… I was in tears seeing it at the end of the night; I was speechless by how beautifully she captured our ceremony. It would have been amazing as is, but then seeing the final product weeks later was like reliving a dream.”
As a live wedding painter on Long Island, my goal is to create not just a painting—but an heirloom. One that’s custom-crafted, refined in the studio with layers of oil paint, and finished with archival varnish so it can be treasured for generations.
More Than Just a Moment
Unlike quick sketches or novelty pieces, my approach is rooted in years of plein air and figurative painting experience. I arrive early, photograph key moments, and stay throughout the event to absorb the atmosphere. The final painting is developed over several weeks in my studio, ensuring a detailed, museum-quality piece that reflects the emotion and story of your day.
If you’re planning a luxury wedding on Long Island and are looking for a live wedding painter who creates fine art, I would be honored to be part of your celebration.
