Capturing Love: A Styled Shoot at Hinterland Farms
Although this style shoot was just about one year ago today, I haven’t had the chance to share the incredible experience I had with a group of talented wedding professionals. This magical event took place at the picturesque Hinterland Farms in Avon, a rustic barn brimming with New England charm.
The day was nothing short of spectacular, and it was such an honor to be invited to capture the essence of this enchanting shoot. It was a warm day in the beginning of June. My colleague Mo Myra and I had the honor of being invited to paint on location during the style shoot. Unfortunately, I had to leave early do to unforeseen circumstances however, I was able to experience and witness first hand the beautiful creations of each of these talented professionals. I finish the painting back in my studio with the Mo’s help of providing great reference photos.
A Setting Straight Out of a Dream
Hinterland Farms is the epitome of rustic elegance. The barn’s weathered wood, lush surroundings, and serene atmosphere set the perfect stage for a day filled with creativity and romance. Adding to the charm were two majestic horses that graced the shoot, bringing a sense of timeless beauty and grace to the scene. Their presence added an ethereal touch that made the entire experience feel like a fairy tale with a boho twist.
Beauty in Every Detail
One of the highlights of the day was the stunning hair and makeup artistry. The models looked absolutely breathtaking, thanks to the incredible skills of the beauty team.
The Mystic Knot Co. provided a unique and mesmerizing backdrop of marriage knot displays. Their intricate designs added a layer of depth and symbolism to the shoot, perfectly complementing the rustic elegance of the venue. The florals, bursting with color and life, tied everything together, creating a vibrant and romantic atmosphere.
A Surprise Engagement
As if the day couldn’t get any more magical, Johnnie, one of the dashing models, had secretly planned to propose to his real-life love, Sarah, during the shoot.
Bringing It All Together
This styled shoot was a testament to the power of collaboration and the beauty of love. Every professional involved brought their A-game, contributing to an unforgettable day that celebrated love, artistry, and creativity.
